2010 and before... Ugh... Writing that off as a learning experience but now I have to get to work.
I've developed lethargy all around. Spiritually, physically, and mentally I've become pretty lazy. Now there are many reasons as to why but none of those really matter. All that matters is right now, and right now I have to get my "house" in order.
So 2011 is my year to break free of the lethargy that has set in. Whether it's reading the words of a philosopher, lifting heavy weights, or studying for my next career credential, I just need to START.
I picked something hard to start with but most pertinent. I might have some weird problems with food like an allergy or intolerance. So over the past few months in 2010 I've slowly learned how to cut them out of my diet.
I've gone gluten free and damn near vegetarian. I've start feeling better. No more processed foods here.
My reading list currently includes books on the glycemic index, the paleo diet, and stuff by Michael Pollan.
So yeah I guess it's sort of an elimination diet in a sense though I haven't give up things like corn and oats.
Alcohol might be on the chopping block too. When I drink I sometimes have a reaction.
I suppose my body is telling me that it's time to knock it off and treat it right.
Well, I thought it would be interesting to start a blog to help with the mental lethargy a bit too. So I decided why not start one talking about my own personal health journey?
